Clare Day

Clay and found objects are at the heart of Clare's practice, alongside a focus on how materials feel in the hand. She makes imprints in the clay as a way to record a time, a place, a feeling.

Her central practice is ceramics, but she also make prints, drawings and installations from these processes. Most recently she has run sessions around clay and wellbeing in various places including at the Holburne Museum.
