Simon Cryer has a career in graphic design stretching over 35 years.

"I’ve always had a keen interest in arts and crafts. From the first turn of the throwing wheel, I was hooked. Since then my aim has been to to improve through continuous practice and the generosity of the many talented potters who teach and share their craft through social media, masterclasses and courses. I currently work from the Bath Artists Studios complex in Bath, focusing on making clean, sharp and simple forms in both black and white porcelain. I prefer a light touch approach to glazing; adding a pop of colour or simply a clear gloss to the interiors to contrast with the matt, sometimes textured unglazed exteriors. A selection of my work is now being stocked by the Holburne Museum Shop in Bath."
