Becky Groves is a British watercolour artist based in Wiltshire. Her practice is rooted in the idea of getting her pink back — a personal language for rediscovering joy, autonomy, and creative confidence alongside the realities of family life.
Her paintings explore moments of pause and re-emergence, using nature as both refuge and metaphor. Working primarily in watercolour, she layers transparent washes and restrained marks to reflect transitions between holding on and letting go, care and independence, grounding and lightness.
Rather than depicting specific places, her landscapes sit slightly outside of time — shaped by lived experience, memory, and the quieter thresholds of everyday life. They are informed by motherhood, shared routines, and the small acts of independence that unfold alongside them.
Alongside her exhibition practice, she is the founder of Rebsey Art Studio, where this body of work extends into accessible, art-led pieces designed to bring moments of calm and recognition into daily spaces.
Her work invites viewers to notice where they, too, might be returning to themselves.
