Kim Watkins

Kim Watkins is an artist who paints with mixed media, with an imaginative approach to the landscape genre. Her background as a Landscape Archaeologist strongly influences her work. Working from the Riverside Studios near Bath which she shares with a number of artists she is often inspired by the Sacred or Ritual aspects of her subjects. She is intensely drawn to the colours, contrast of light and palimpsest intrinsic to these ancient places and the atmosphere they evoke.
