Nick is a Bath based artist who works in oils, acrylic and mixed media on a variety of surfaces, working both en plein air and also from his Bath studio.

Nick’s work is inspired by his love of our oceans and coastline, especially Cornwall which features in much of his work.

As a long time surfer Nick has spent countless hours in and around the water and continues to spend much of his time in this beautiful part of the country. He is a member of Surfers Against Sewage which campaigns for a more proactive approach to the management and cleanliness of our seas, rivers and lakes.

His contemporary artistic influences include Jon Doran, Maggie O’Brien and Kurt Jackson who all work from Cornwall and produce wonderful paintings in their own respective styles.

Nick is a member of Bathampton Art Group and sells his artwork at the Bath Art Fair, the monthly Bath Contemporary Artists’ Fair; Handmade Bradford on Avon; Batheaston Art Trail; Bath Open Studios and online at https://nickdavison.art
